Anson Peake

Born in Manchester, England, Anson Peake earned degrees in business management and psychology before joining Abstergo Industries. As the manager of Project Legacy, Peake was responsible for the smooth running of day-to-day operations. His daily tasks revolved around recruit monitoring, troubleshooting, and the compilation of daily reports for his superiors. Peake took his job very seriously, but apparently was not aware of either the true objectives of the project or the fact that his employer was the corporate front of the Templar Order. ~ AC Wiki

Project Legacy

Project Legacy was an initiative set up by Abstergo to scour memories of individuals deemed notable. The subjects chosen usually had an ancestor of note, or were of an Assassin heritage, and were always linked in some way to a PoE. These memories were then placed in the DDS (Data Dump Scanner) for the general population to sift through.

The hacker group known as Erudito were a continuous torn in the side and regularly breached the system, replacing the original memories with their own; and releasing private information causing the eventual termination of the program.

Project Legacy explored the memories of various subjects through the Data Dump Scanner program and used the population at large to analyze the data. The Initiative also allowed us to track, observe and isolate individuals who were particularly talented. Abstergo recruited some of these individuals.

Despite state of the art computer security, a menace calling itself Erudito has managed to hack into our systems on several occasions, as we have seen from the Project Legacy incident.

It is unclear whether Erudito is a person or a group, but evidence suggests it is a number of individuals working independently, but who share a common purpose: to expose our secret agenda. Whether this Erudito Collective is in collusion with the Assassin Brotherhood or not remains unclear. However, knowingly or not, the actions of the Collective undoubtedly serve the cause of the Assassins.

Erudito's Phonetap 1

This conversation between Anson Peake and his superior was released by Erudito to the public on November 12, 2010.

Anson's supervisor has discovered that the DDS has been compromised but instructs Anson to continue on with the project.

Erudito's Phonetap 2

This conversation between Anson Peake and his superior was released by Erudito to the public on December 17, 2010. Unlike the previous file, which was a sound file, this one came in a video format.

After the latest leak of information, Anson is given a dressing down and it is suggested he resign his position. Sadly Anson disappeared after the shutdown of Project Legacy and his current where abouts are unknown.
